MAKASSAR TIDAK RANTASA

1.  By: ST. Pratiwi Parawansyah

This picture was taken by me on 9th November 2014 in the around on Jalan Pelita raya 1. Looking at this picture, I remembered going to a government program “makassar tidak rantasa(MTR).” MTR is one of the government’s program of work, which has been announced by the government on a regular basis throughout the school in the city of makassar. This proved to be held every 9th cleam the entire scope of the school schedule.

In this picture, depicting trash scattered. It makes the environment around on jalan pelita raya 1 becomes contaminated and cause a bad impression. In my opinion, the work program MTR which has been announced by the government and in its application to the makassar people is behavior, has not been successful.

In fact, there are still citizens who don’t pay attention to the surrounding environment, such as environmental conditions on jalan pelita raya 1.

one thing that is often spoken of society these days is about the Makassar City Government program that MTR or so-called "Makassar'ta Tidak Rantasa".

SMA 9 Makassar is one of the schools in the city of Makassar, which are realizing the MTR program. This can be seen in the picture above. on Saturday, before the start of teaching and learning activities, students in SMA 9 Makassar doing voluntary work to clean up the school environment.

in the picture above, it can be seen compactness of students in cleaning the school environment. clean-up action starts in the classroom and then move on to the page of each class.

With the movement of cleaning the school environment, it is expected that students sma 9 Makassar can enforce "siri" or shame when disposing of garbage in any place, both inside and outside the school environment, so as to form a personality that is clean and pay attention to the surrounding environment.

I took this picture in jalan Inhutani A near the rice fields. Around the rice fields, there are piles of garbage strewn. Most of this garbage strewn on the streets that can disrupt road users. This trash discarded by some people who live around the terraces. Many people who deliberately throw garbage in there, but there has been a janitor who hauling trash.

As a result of the waste, rice fields were almost enter the harvest be broken so it is detrimental to farmers. Garbage is thrown away will cause global warming, because it can damage the Earth's atmosphere. Trash can also cause flooding, and in addition to the above statement can also bean eye so retrash. Trash can also lead to pollution of soil and bad odor.

I took this picture in my house beside the canal. The smell  of garbage is very disturbing people around. People who throw garbage in the canal was already in reprimandedby the local people. But there was no modifiers. Local residents have also been told to local governmentsfor the canal is cleaned and removed eceng gondok  plants. If there is no action that would clog waterways and now began to enter the rainy season, the greater the chanceof flooding.
